The “Sunplaza Store” is located in the underground shopping area “Sunplaza” within the office and commercial buildings “Fukuoka Asahi Building” and “Center Building” in front of Hakata Station’s Hakata Exit.

The large roasting machine visible from outside can roast five times the amount of beans compared to the roasting machine at the Shambord Daimyo main store.

The roasting process and the fragrant aroma of coffee produced by this machine captivate passersby, garnering the patronage of numerous customers, particularly office workers from the building tenants.

As the underground space cannot receive sunlight, special lighting arrangements are made inside the store, with the proud use of bright, luxurious sakura wood for the counter seats.

Adding a unique sense of tranquility to the interior are copper flower vases and copper art murals created by the locally renowned metal artist Junko Akimoto.

With more table seats compared to other stores, the Sunplaza Store caters not only to business meetings but also to individuals looking for a place to relax during lunchtime, after work, or while taking a break from shopping in the Sunplaza underground shopping area.

The Fukuoka Asahi Building, which houses the Sunplaza underground area, was also the location where the first “Coffee sya Noda” store was established in 1970 (*).

Cake Shop Régent is a patisserie directly operated by “Coffee sya Noda”, located near the Yakuin Mutsukado intersection. Our specialty lies in sweets with gentle, safe, and additive-free flavors.

Like our coffee, the sweets from this shop are crafted with their own unique aesthetics, and they are served at each “Coffee sya Noda” location.

However, the role of “Cake Shop Régent” is not limited to this. We offer numerous sweets and baked goods that are only available here, and we also accept orders for custom cakes such as wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and illustration cakes.

The Yakuin area is lined with elegant shops that delight passersby. As one of these establishments,”Cake Shop Régent” will continue to contribute to the sweets culture around Tenjin.
